Located in the heart of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Brigadoon Equestrian Center, formerly Little Bit Farm, has
recently become a top-class show stable, having undergone complete
reconstruction in 1999. The farm boasts a new, twenty-four box stall barn,
with large, dutch-style windows that open to the outside, skylights and ceiling
fans throughout, and wide, concrete center aisles with rubber mats.
Its many amenities include two large outdoor arenas and an indoor arena with
large sliding windows and Perma-Flex footing. The second-story air-conditioned,
heated lounge provides ample viewing of both the indoor arena and the main outdoor
arena. Beautifully decorated show jumps and a course change each week enable proper
preparation for the show-ring. Two large, hot-water wash stalls permit ample areas
for bathing and grooming. The private boarders’ tack room provides a
temperature controlled area for saddles, bridles, and tack trunks.
The horses and ponies which reside at Brigadoon receive personalized,
individual care by the professional, full-time staff. Each feeding, deworming,
and veterinary program is carefully maintained by our barn manager, as well as a
weekly farrier schedule.
Daily turnout in small groups in the farm's sixteen acres of pastures assures
exercise and relaxation and is an important part of the showhorse’s routine.
Brigadoon also provides in-house transportation to local and rated shows,
as well as day trips to the Bucks County Horse Park for an occasional hack in
the woods.
