Deborah Briggs

Deborah Briggs took ownership of Brigadoon Equestrian Center in July of 2005. Since then she has focused on facility enhancements and property upgrades to make Brigadoon a safe, clean and professional environment allowing the horse owner peace of mind that their equine asset is in one of the best facility available in Buck's County.

Deborah has owned and trained horses since she was ten years old. During Deb's childhood she was lucky enough to always live in the country and have her horses on site. Attending to horses' needs and upkeep has been a part of Deb's daily life for decades.

Deborah showed for ten years as part of the Regional and National Appaloosa circuit achieving Reserve National Grand Champion on her beloved Mr. B. Additionally, Deborah has raised and trained many foals from birth to maturity, molding their personalities and performance capabilities.

Deborah is a registered nurse with her main focus in emergency medicine. This has assisted her to being much more attuned to her horse's health and well being... being able to apply those assessments and clinical skills when needed. He health care background has also instilled a mind-set aimed at bringing consistent safety practices around the barn. Deborah ensures that handling horses, feeding regimes and facility upkeep supports an optimal and safe place for the rider and their horse.
